Tooth Whitening and Cosmetic Enhancements

Everyone wants a bright and beautiful smile.  At Dr. Miller’s Family Dentistry of Madisonville, we can make that a reality for you.

Strong , healthy teeth are a must, but whitening and enhancing your smile can do even more for your image and confidence.  “Tooth Whitening” can brighten your natural smile by removing the stains that have become imbedded in your enamel.

For patients burdened with staining and imperfections caused by medications or illness, tooth whitening can give you the freedom to smile with confidence.

For patients needing veneers, fillings or crowns, tooth whitening can provide an excellent color foundation for the shades chosen in those services.

“Porcelain Veneers” provide an excellent solution for many dental needs:

  • Internal Staining-sometimes whitening alone is not enough.
  • Crowding & Malalignment-when orthodontics is not the best option.
  • Misshaped teeth & Malformed Enamel-veneers can give you what nature did not.

For severe staining, slight to moderate crowding, or tooth malformations, “Porcelain Veneers” can be made to cover unsightly tooth imperfections.

Restorations and Crowns

There are a wide variety of materials available today for dental restorations and crowns.  Dr. Miller routinely places tooth-colored resin fillings unless a patient specifically requests or requires a silver (amalgam) restoration.  Resin fillings provide excellent strength and longevity with an esthetic result.

In some cases, a filling may not be enough.  For teeth with extensive structure loss, fractures, or an existing root canal treatment, a full coverage crown is required to protect the tooth.  Dental crowns can be all porcelain, all metal, or a combination of porcelain and metal.  Dr. Miller will recommend the best crown to meet your dental needs.
